Horticulture I

This full year course is designed for students interested in pursuing studies of greenhouse management and production, including topics in plant sciences.  A major portion of the class grade from January – May is work in the greenhouse, including successful production of a crop of plants for the annual NHS plant sale.  Students who are frequently absent from class or need to switch to homebound instruction will need to make special arrangements to complete this portion of the course, as proficiency in these topics cannot be gained without growing plants.  Notes and assignments will be added to this page as they are covered in class, and instructions for downloading and printing slideshows can be found on the previous page.
