Equine Science

This is a full-year course designed for students interested in studying horses.  On this page you can access notes already covered in class, as well as the course outline and any assignments that are already computerized.  There are assignments from the textbooks we use in class, and they will be denoted as follows:  E.S. is the Equine Science text, C.G. is the Career Guide to the Horse Industry, and HIH is the Horse Industry Handbook.  Instructions for downloading and printing notes are on the previous page.

There may also be photos and videos available online, taken by Mrs. Kook or previous Equine Science students, such as the photo on the left.  They will showcase what opportunities students have had in the program and should be used as informational in nature, not guarantees or promises of current opportunities.  Extra-curricular activities change yearly in this course, and students may be able to participate in listed or other activities as the year progresses.  Information will be made available in a timely manner in class.
